FAQs

What is ABA therapy?

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is a science-based approach that helps children develop meaningful skills and reduce behaviours that interfere with learning and daily life. It is individualized and focuses on positive reinforcement and functional skills.

Who can benefit from ABA therapy?

Children and youth with autism or developmental disabilities benefit most, but ABA principles can support anyone in learning new skills or managing behaviours effectively.

How do I know if my child needs ABA therapy

If your child has difficulty with communication, behavior, social skills, or daily routines, an assessment can help determine if ABA is a good fit. We collaborate with families to set meaningful goals based on your child’s strengths and needs.

What is your intake process like?

It starts with a free consultation call. After that, we’ll complete an assessment, develop a plan, and start services tailored to your child’s needs and your family’s goals.

Do you only work with children diagnosed with autism?

No. While ABA is widely used with children on the autism spectrum, we also support children with developmental delays, ADHD, learning challenges, and other behavioural needs.

What age group do you work with?

We work with children from toddlers to school-aged youth, depending on their individual needs and developmental goals.

How often will my child receive therapy?

This depends on your child’s needs, family goals, and funding availability. After an initial assessment, we’ll recommend a schedule that supports progress while fitting into your routine.

Can I be involved in my child’s therapy?

Absolutely! Parent involvement is key to long-term success. We provide training, coaching, and regular updates so you can support your child’s growth at home and in the community.
